grouphugs analytics is a private YouTube analytics, reporting and packaging-testing dashboard. It reads a client's YouTube channel data through the official YouTube APIs and turns it into reports, retention and audience insights, and title and thumbnail tests that help their channel grow.
It is built and operated by grouphugs, a YouTube video growth agency, for the client channels we manage. Clients connect their channel once, and our team turns the data into better videos.

What each permission is used for
See your YouTube channel and videos (youtube.readonly)
Reads your channel profile and video list (titles, thumbnails, publish dates) so your dashboard shows the right videos.
See your YouTube Analytics (yt-analytics.readonly)
Reads viewing reports: views, watch time, impressions, click-through rate, traffic sources, retention and audience data.
See your monetary YouTube Analytics (yt-analytics-monetary.readonly)
Reads estimated revenue so your reports include earnings alongside viewership.
Manage your YouTube videos (youtube.force-ssl)
Used only to run the title and thumbnail tests you have asked us to run, and to read captions for content insights. Every change is recorded in an audit log and the original title and thumbnail are always kept so they can be restored.
See your email address (userinfo.email)
Records which Google account authorized the connection.
Your data stays yours
- You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account security settings, and we delete a channel's stored data on request.
- Access credentials are encrypted before they are stored, and your data is only visible to the grouphugs team working on your channel.
- We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.
- grouphugs analytics' use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
